About "Atlantic R/C Flyers"

http://www.atlanticrc.com
Privately Owned, Operated & Insured
Established: November 2006

Atlantic R/C Flyers is the very first All-Electric, Privately owned, operated and insured club in the United States that is solely operating using the new 2.4 gigahertz radio control systems! (i.e. Spektrum, Futaba FASST and JR).  We no longer use the old, antiquated FM systems most clubs are using, hence, no more interference from other transmitters, other local clubs, radio towers, etc...

The purpose of the Atlantic R/C Flyers Club and webpage is to share Radio Control hobby related information with other friendly and enthusiastic Radio Control flyers in the New England area; allowing the introduction and sharing of R/C hobby experiences among R/C hobbyists; Educating our future engineers/scientists in subjects such as basic aerodynamics and electro-mechanical engineering disciplines, while continually promoting the positive recreational aspects of the hobby.

Note: Open membership in Atlantic R/C Flyers (ARC Flyers) is no longer available as the maximum allowed members (25) has been reached for 2013.  New members will selected in the future using existing applications/waiting lists...

P.S.  For clarification, the Atlantic Flyers R/C "Club" is privately owned, run and operated by its members/owners and is not an AMA sanctioned club... although most members are still AMA members as they fly at other AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) sanctioned fields/clubs in the MA and RI, CT and NY.  Any questions, please email...
